An introduction to iXBRL tagging of statutory accounts and an analysis of the content of UK taxonomies.
The Taxonomy and iXBRL Tagging training course will provide a valuable insight into the fundamental rules of XBRL tagging as well as a clear understanding of the structure and terminology of XBRL.
The Agenda
- Understand the fundamental principles underlying XBRL taxnomies
- Understand how tags are defined and applied in UK GAAP and IFRS taxonomies
- Gain detailed knowledge on the structure of profit and loss disclosures and the variants available
- Learn how to make the best use of balance sheet elements of the taxonomy Understand essential structural elements of the taxonomy and how elements such as dimensions and tuples should be used
- Ensure you can distinguish between tagging requirements for text, numbers, percentages, etc.
- Learn how signage and scaling of numbers affects your tagging
- Learn to recognise the differences between the minimum and full tagging lists
- Understand how to review tagged documents to ensure consistency
